Gov. Mike Huckabee on Jay Leno (Fair Tax!)

I highly recommend you watch these clips, even if you’re not normally into politics. I’m not necessarily supporting Huckabee for President (but a McCain/Huckabee or Huckabee/McCain I’d strongly support); however he makes two big points in the second clip: “A health crisis, not a health care crisis.” and the Fair Tax. I’d love to see your comments on the Fair Tax.

PS. I first tried to go to Hulu, the “legal” site for these clips to find them there instead. Were they? Of course not. So, thanks to good ol’ Youtube, haven for us intellectual property pirates (arr) for giving those IP terrorists safe harbor.

Well I AM normally into politics and I have been very interested in the Huckster since he came on the scene. My cousin actually got to meet him a few weeks ago in New York. He was campaigning with Chuck Norris actually. I don’t know if i’m necessarily supporting him either, but I’m definitely keeping my eye on him.
The Fair Tax would be great, if it would work as promised. 34% (instead of the 23% listed) tax on bought items really doesn’t work out well for consumers (amongst other things).
The main problem I have is Huckabee campaigns as a conservative. But he isn’t one.
