the long goodbye with Verizon

While I’m not prepared to write about the full course of events here, yet, I want to make this quick post:

I switched from Verizon to AT&T Wireless. It’s not been the most pleasant experience, but I am pleased to say that I’ve found out how to set some hidden settings on the LG CU515 and send my own created ringtones to it via Bluetooth. And I’ve confirmed what I heard from friends: you can use an AT&T Go-Phone as a replacement for your regular phone with no special unlocking needed. ($20 backup phone?)

More on this, and my attempts at unlocking the LG 515 later. (I’ve yet to try it, but I have the unlock code)
