Don’t Use Enom for Hosting
Ok, I tried out a new hosting service: Enom/Enomcentral. They're not as awful as Vizaweb was, but they're pretty dang awful.
In 3 days I experienced slow MySQL and MySQL downtime. There are no "user friendly" tools for database creation. And worst of all: their server is configured incorrectly, so in order to have these obscure scripts like, I dunno, WordPress, run correctly, you have to set your folders to the very insecure 777 permissions, which is stupid.
I'm asking for a full refund from them. Next up, I'll give Godaddy a try.

Hey bud, don't bother with GoDaddy, unless you go virtual. Are you looking for a cheap shared server or virtual dedicated? GoDaddy is 45 / mo
