- @lizziekeiper Verizon did the same thing to us last year, altho we didn't notice the change, so they charged $500 in ETF. We refused to pay. in reply to lizziekeiper #
- Had a fun day with @MalloryMartin family and Grace Life crowd. Iron Bowl wasn't boring - wasn't a good game, but it wasn't boring either. :) #
- @atcrawford Subpoena the cops certs and the dispatch radio log. Have affidavits too. I'm not a lawyer either, but they prob won't produce. in reply to atcrawford #
- @atcrawford LOL. Prob not? Basically, I agree, if the name is wrong, the ticket should be dismissed. The other stuff was icing to make sure. in reply to atcrawford #
- @STS_126 Are you going 2 keep us informed about landing today? e.g.: when Go is given and 4 which orbit, @ TIG, @ EI, and @ touchdown? Thx! in reply to STS_126 #
- @lalunablanca Interesting question. What kind of video? And does the music license matter, or is it a personal project? in reply to lalunablanca #
- @lalunablanca Ah, well, if anything goes, hmm, depending on mood, I like Angel, StarTrek 1st Contact theme, Free Fallin', and Dare U 2 Move. in reply to lalunablanca #
- @lalunablanca PS I couldn't more highly recommend http://www.lala.com to listen to the music, and download DRM free MP3. It's the very best. in reply to lalunablanca #
- @lalunablanca My pleasure. Have fun. I always loved mixing in the background music for highlights/memories style videos. It's a fun art. in reply to lalunablanca #

- I'm slowly coming back to consciousness #
- @Sawdustpile The odd thing is my iPhone told me I was sending that to my girlfriend, to tell her I was awake from my nap. No C2H5OH for me. in reply to Sawdustpile #
- Finally made it to the theater to see Twilight. It's running late, so I don't think I'll be out until 12:30. 6 people in the theater. #
- Twilight the movie: I liked it. The low budget felt like local theatre, which I like. It's def. a love story, not action or drama. 7/10 #

Mainheim Steamroller Concert
From the sold out encore performance of the concert in Huntsville, AL - from the very last row in the balcony, unfortunately. http://qik.com/video/607401 Show was good: 6 out of 10. That would be higher if everyone in group was there. The "main" guy was having neck surgery this touring season, so he was out; and the other half of the original band was touring on the west coast.
Other thoughts? I'm not a fan of the effect lights being programmed to blind me in the eyes, which happened a good bit too often for me. And, for me, I felt like too much of the second half was performed behind the scrim. Maybe some enjoyed the movies, but I felt like it broke the "live connection" and emotionally removed me too far from the actual concert.
Other things my mom noticed: the drummer and bass guitar were really young. I'm pretty sure the drummer was younger than me even - but it was his drums that drove most songs home.
I suppose that reminds me: the other place I deducted points off the 10 was largely the use of pre-recorded track and synthesized horns and bells. Only two horns, and a small (6 violins + 1 woodwind) orchestra were present, although the featured violinist and I believe even the percussionist both pulled out a recorder once during the show. But no, I didn't like the use of pre-recorded track at all. I want concerts to be entirely live.
Overall: solid, still good, show.

- @a_askew I'm looking 4 ur opinion. Is TiVo worth the cost? My Pioneer DVR - I could replace HD for $70, but it kills them due to its issues. #
- @a_askew See, I was afraid you'd say this. TiVo seems to be the Mac of the DVR world. More $, but done right. Thanks for your HO . . . :) #
- Sometimes, I am not entirely convinced that my body does not wish I were a fish. #
- @MalloryMartin as a witness-if I were on PriceIsRight:NASA I would have won 2 showcases. Me: $100k for lost tools. Actual? http://is.gd/8fLy #

Really good discussion about the problems with the 531 - consistent with my own experiences. Also, info regarding the TV Guide feature.

Twitter Down Tweets
Twitter is down, so let me post some of the tweets I wanted to send here:
Whoa! NASA TV is no longer using jump cuts in flight day highlights; I even think I saw a wipe a minute ago. Shock.
The worst thing about going to sleep: the imminent realization that the next sensation you'll feel is that of having the sleep forcibly terminated by a much too early alarm clock. (Well, this one ended up being over 140 chars. So it would become the following.)

The merger of the iTunes(es) completed successfully. I didn't realize I still had sound effects from my high school plays in here.
Note to self: Tag this later.
