• Forgot my pen tonight, so tweeting my church notes. Eph 6:1-4. Point 1: Don’t provoke children to anger. “Are you too firm, unreasonable?” #

• Point 2, flipside: Don’t fail to discipline. Prov 22:15. Heb 12:6-9. Demonstrates you care for their good. Obediance is learned. #
• Point 3: Don’t make idols out of children. Isa 44:6. Nothing is wrong w/ sports, teams, etc., but don’t let it become your worship service. #
• I can see myself losing followers now. Don’t worry folks. Only 10 points. Point 4: Don’t have strictly worldly goals. Psa 78:7. Phil 3:7. #
• Don’t teach to worry about grades. Teach the biblical pricipal of working diligently! Point 5: Don’t sacrifice spouse at alter of children. #
• Point 6: Don’t waste the early years. Spurgeon: first lesson to child should be about his mother’s God. Literacy through learning scripture. #
• Point 7: Use Christ-like principals, not do’s and don’ts. Don’t go beyond scripture; don’t be judgmental. Preferences != Biblical authority. #
• Point 8: I missed it. Point 9: Don’t allow them to be children forever. Point 10: Dob’t forget to pray for them. Luke 11:5-13. #GLiCoS #
