Matthew 1:21. Matt Fowler. Hebrews 10:26-29.

Point 1: “No ordinary sun.”
It is, however, an ordinary birth. Conception is another matter. (v.20)

John 1:1. In order to take on sin of mankind, he had to be fully flesh.

Point 2: “He would save people from their sin.”
Romans 8:29.
Consider this, two types of people: those who can overcome sin through indewelling of Holy Spirit and those who can’t because they’re lost.

Reflection: This was largely a “seeker service.”
