• I'm forcing myself 2 use Windows 7 as my primary OS for a few days 2 really get oriented. It's good, but the best software is still on OS X. #
• Using Windows 7 first steps: Install Firefox, Xmarks, Chrome, Twirl, OpenOffice, Notepad++. For Twirl, had to change font to Segoe UI 11 pt. #

• .@ikepigott Ah, the old friend/follower misnomer issue. It's been around since LiveJournal (which really did pioneer). FF uses "subscriber." #
• I propose a new name scheme for decades: Include the millennial digit. This is the "200s" 2010 starts the "201s" - pronounced "two-oh-ones." #
• This naming scheme a) gets around the awkwardness of the "zeros" and "tens" and b) differentiates from the 1900s. In 11 years u'll thank me. #
