  • Wow. If this BNO news about a 8.5 quake off the coast of Chile is accurate, Sydney could be in trouble. I don't know; just speculating. #
  • Ok, looking at where the quake was Sydney is probably safe, but still- a lot of populated cities on the coast of S.America & perhaps Hawaii. #
  • Ok, I'm going 2 bed. No reports are going 2 come n from the MOST impacted areas 'til tomrrw. As of right now: Tsunami facts r still unclear. #
  • Looks like the models didn't fit this tsunami very well. In good news, it sounds like it's arriving as a large progressive ripple (my words) #
  • An earthquake is bad enough, but thankfully, it looks like the tsunami was unusual, & "rippled out" n a way that didn't do any major damage. #
